This coffee comes from Carlos and his family in Casa Negra. We are excited to be part of Carlos’ work. He invest in his local community to help produce high quality coffee, and improve livelihoods. 

From the nearest town a drive of 2.5 miles of winding roads, rough and potholed that takes 30 minutes or more to arrive at the farm (finca) in the Santa Monica region of South Armenia, Quindio.  Three fincas  (Villarazo, Santa Monica, Casa Negra) near one another growing a range of different varietals (Pink Bourbon, Java, Catui & Castillo, Tabi).

The journey this coffee has made is long and arduous. The care to detail and knowledge pour into the whole process are part of the many components that make this coffee an outstanding product for you to enjoy.
